As we grow up, we learn to manipulate our world. That sounds bad, but is reality. A baby only can scream, cry, kick, in order to get it’s needs met. But as we grow, we tune in to the environment around us and we pay attention. When I do this, I get ignored. When I do that I get love, when I do this I get hugs and so on. This is how we learn to get what we want. We become very tuned in to our parents and others who care for us, and we know what will get us the results we want. Whether it is candy, hugs, or going to the fair, we learn to manipulate the world and create our reality the best we can.
The as adults, we do the same. We do not want to admit it, or realize it, but it is really no different. It is all about energy, we want certain kinds of energy and not others. However the most common way to get what we want is to be a victim.
This is things like being sad, depressed, sick, lonely, unsuccessful, poor, abused and more. Yes, we actually create these situations, on autopilot, because we learn very young that if you get sick or hurt, everyone stops what they are doing and pays attention to you. Maybe you get ice cream, mom is nice and hugs you and Dad does not require you to cut the grass. Then we shift this into more subtle ways of getting attention as an adult. Maybe it is complaining about your husband or kids and how hard your life is. Maybe it is having  a physical limitation, that gives you a reason to have to go slow, or not do as much, or maybe you still do more than anyone else, even with your pain. Maybe it is a constant battle with not enough money or time. That really gives you some attention and attracts lots of pity energy. In the end, they are all excuses, for one reason or another, to keep us from going outside our comfort zone, being better than our tribe, or fitting in and feeling safe.
When you begin to pay attention, you will find hundreds of small ways on which you  present yourself or your situation so as to make others feel sorry for you, or at least lessen up their judgment or expectations. One common thing is to simply bring up your personal self image issues first, so they can’t hurt you. So you talk about being overweight, or not having a good hair day , or how old your blouse is, so as to deflect the potential criticism or judgment. We do it all day in tons of subtle little ways.
So why bother to notice and shift it?
Well, because it makes a HUGE difference in your life. It brings you into a place of more and more personal power. The more we realize and then shift to take 100% full responsibility for our selves there is so much more joy, riches and fun. Giving away our power to get approval. love, compliments, acceptance is so common yet so destructive.
So I appreciate hearing from people as they begin to wake up and be aware of all the ways we downgrade our power and give an appearance of weakness.
Here is one I still find myself doing… If I am tired and I want help ,instead of asking for it directly, I will begin to point out how hard I have been working. I say things about how hard I have been working and what all I have cleaned, and so on. How silly! Yet it was taught to me growing up. If you stepped into your power and simply asked for what you wanted, like love, hugs, attention, money or even help, you would get answers like “you don’t get everything you want”, or “it’s not all about you”, or “it’s not my job to make you feel good about who you are”.  But if you proved how much you had suffered and showed how pathetic you were in some way, you got help. Sad, but true.

So I invite you once more, to free yourself from the victim vibe. The class is $5 for 2 hours, and as you can tell from the quotes, it is worth it and it is also great to repeat, let it really sink in! So I am leaving he sale up through Sunday. In my class we do processes to uproot and release the energies and emotions that create the feeling of being a victim, being betrayed and abandoned.
I also want to remind you that a very powerful ally I used to get me through my divorce and still use on occaision when I can tell I am feeling sorry for myself in some way, is the vibrational essence “Escape the Victim Vibe” . You take drops as needed and balance your electrical and emotional fields so you can shift. And right now I have bigger bottles than normal cause the supplier sent them to me by mistake and so you get twice as much for the same price.

You may want to get the essence, it is very helpful. I really used it and still do at times, and I I could tell the difference. http://transformationalessences.com/
