Continuing the discussion of the essence of the Spirit of Money and how it would feel and show up in your life.

More answers to the question:

“If I embody the spirit of money, I am in harmonious alignment with it, how would it express in my life:

7. I am always open and receptive to money, I hold the thought patterns that  money loves me, i love money and we are a match. I am an excellent receiver and so money flows, grows, and glows (with energy ) around and with me.
8. I am friends with money, it is a natural part of my life to have more money then i need and so i bless money anytime i see or feel it,coming or going, paying or receiving because it is the flow that keeps the energy moving and energy likes movement, and money is energy
9. I give money it’s respect/appreciation/attention because anything i want in my life I give attention to, in a loving, happy way.
10. Money opportunities are all around me at all times, to receive it (make), to invest (grow) it, to share (give) it and to create…I see the possibilities all around me at all times

Beliefs I now choose: I feel at ease with money.    Money is a natural part of me and my life.

Invite the Spirit of Money into your life!

5. I do what i love, what makes me happy and feel good, what my inner guidance lights up to and simply KNOW the money will flow in
6. Money appears instantly and consistently, there is no time barrier to money and it takes no special effort to attract and receive it

What is the “Spirit of Money” to you? Money is energy, and so are we. I am exploring what it means to be connected, aligned with the spirit of money with Amy Grant of newsuccess.org. We are creating an amazing tele seminar to explore how to release your negative money beliefs and tne in to the spirit of money.

Here are some things to consider, let me know what you think!

ASK YOURSELF: “If I embody the spirit of money, I am in harmonious alignment with it, how would it express in my life?”

1. money coming to me from all place, directions, expected and unexpected
2. money flowing easily, with no emotional attachment, except gratitude/appreciation, into my life, bank account,
3. NO worries in any way about money, it has no emotional reaction in me anymore, except happiness/appreciation

Vibrating wealth!

I want money, now now now…

Did that push your buttons? Really, be honest! How did that title make you feel? Could you say “I want money , now, now, now” and feel good about it? Does it make you feel self conscious? Greedy?

All week we have been exploring money beliefs and whether they serve us. If you read the blogs on Monday we talked about what you believe about money, Tuesday about choosing powerful beliefs about money and Thursday about whether your loved ones support your money dreams.

Seeing how you react to statements about money, will help you root out your thoughts and beliefs about money. Most everyone has un-serving ideas about money, and in order to make, share, give, keep and grow the money you desire in your life, you have to come to peace with money. As we discussed last week, money itself is not happiness, yet living in this world , money is a part of life, and in order to have, do and be many of the things we all desire, money is required. We all seek happiness, that is the true root of all we strive for. Being happy with money and wanting and having money is about self worth and finding your true self, and your passions. But it can be fun to change. No guilt, no blame

INSPIRED ACTION:

Find your ‘hot buttons’ about money.

This can help you begin to let them go. It can be fun, you can make it fun and silly. Why not learn through fun and joy?

Just make it fun and see if you can really push your own buttons. Say things like “I want lots and lots of money” and “I love money and money loves me”…go on, I’ll bet you can come up with some really good ones! Let me know what they are!

Of course you can do this alone, but when you get more comfortable, do it with someone like minded. BE CAREFUL! Don’t do this with someone who will freak out and have their money issues dump all over your head! This is one thing you want to be sure your ‘partner’ is on the same wavelength and gets what you are doing. Otherwise they will suck all the fun out of it! So find your comfort level with money. Try out some crazy, outrageous statements about money and see how they make you feel. Do they bring up your parents, pastor or spouse in your head? Did someone you looked up to in life think wanting, having or spending money was bad? Find out…and have fun!

Do your loved ones support your money dreams and goals?

Examining the way we feel and think about money is very eye opening. If you have tried some of the simple exercises I gave this week, you will have begun to see what you truly beleive about money. Pretty enlightening eh?

Another aspect of changing your mind and beliefs that I was thinking about today is having people around you that support your goals and dreams. Because no two people think the same about anything, the best you can do is find like minded people to support you in your desire to change and empower yourself. Believe me, I know very well what it is like to live with someone who does not support you. It can be depressing, challenging and make your path to change seem harder when the ones who you feel should love and believe in you do not.

“Few things can be as discouraging as when someone whose opinion matters to you belittles or discourages your goals … if you allow it to be discouraging.” says Hale Dwoskin of the Sedona Method.

Here is your INSPIRED ACTION:

Let go of others opinions, and feel your feelings fully.

This is realy 2 things. First of all, if you do not take what anyone else thinks or says personally, you are on a path to a joyful life of happiness! In reality veryone is in their own worlds and they care about themselves. What they say and do to you, is actually about them, not you.

This does not mean it is easy to ignore it if they are mean or discouraging, and you do not have to be with anyone who does not respect and support you for who you are. So the next step is:

Feel your feeelings fully, then they will dissapatea dn have no more power over you. This means if it hurts you and you feel mad or sad, feel it. Fell the emotions fully, then let it go. It will have run it’s energy out because you did not resist it and then you can let it go and choose a new feeling.

The next step may be to re-think the relationship, but for now, just begin to empower yourself and do not let your emotions control you, remember you are a powerful being and you can choose what to feel, think, believe and do!

When it comes to money, many relationships end over it, many business partnerships fall apart over it. So beginning with deciding to choose powerful and empowering money thoughts and then believing and supporting yourself in sticking to what you have chosen is a great start.

Then get out there and find like minded people. They are there is you look! Go achieve your biggest dreams! You are a money magnet!

Nan

P.S. Exciting news!!! I am putting together a tele-seminar in June with Amy Grant. We will be showing you amazing, effective and fast ways to clear your non serving money believes and well…hang on, we’ll be letting you know more soon. We will be having a free preview call in a few weeks too.

Choosing powerful beleifs about money

What we believe about money, wealth, riches, rich people and anything to do with cash has a huge affect on our lives. Because we live in a world that uses money, we have had other people’s ideas, emotions and fears about money all around us since birth. We have taken many of these on, and now it’s time to let them go and choose what you want to believe about money.

Choose positive, powerful beliefs about money.

Changing how you think and feel about money is vital to creating the life you deisre. If you have successfully managed to create as much money as you want, you do not have to conintue to work hard and a lot of time for it, and you are happy with the factthat you have it, then you are doing well. For the rest of us, however, there is much to change.

Here are some questions to ask yourself. Write about them, meditate on them, then use some of the empowering statements of limitless potential ( like affirmations) below. This is SOOO worth it, when you find peace, ease and joy around the subject of money, your life will flow in miraculous ways!

1. How you beleive money comes to you? (This includes what you think you have to do, if anything for money to come to you, and how much you have to do and so on)

2. How do you feel about money? (Are you happy about it? Do you feel comfortable and excited and expectant about money?, do you think it is bad/good, do you resent or admire wealthy people, do you feel you deserve money, do you think if you have it, someone else can’t have it and have guilt?…)

3. Are you open and receptive for money to come and stay in your life? (If you have negative feelings about this, or doubt it in any way, them the answer is no. If you fear success or failure, or think if you get it you will lose it, this is an important area to address)

STATEMENTS OF LIMITLESS POTENTIAL: MONEY

~ Money comes to me from expected and unexpected sources.

~ Money is energy , I am energy , I am a natural match to money.

~ I am worthy of wealth just by being me.

~ All the money I desire comes to me now, easily and effortlessly.

~ The Universe is my ally, bringing me all the riches I desire now.

~ I have more than enough cash for whatever I want to do

I believe that life is to be lived, now, not later. I believe that there is enough of everything for everyone.
To everone’s abundance….in joy, welath, health and most if all love!

Money, what do you beleive about it?

Last week I wrote 4 posts about working hard , health issues and doing less, working smart from inspiration and what is your “why”. What people believe about money seems to be as big or a bigger issue than whether or not you believe you have to work hard to achieve your goals and make money. These are intertwined and most people have many beliefs and past experiences regarding work and money and time, that do not serve them any more.

I am going to share a small part of a long comment I posted about the conversation that was going on on the blog entitled “Can you achieve your goals without becoming a workaholic?” I suggest you go read all the comments, as they form an interesting, and at times heated discussion.

My post includes things I believe about money and hard work.

The INSPIRED ACTION for today is:

Look at your beliefs about money.

As you can see from the comments on this blog, we all have ideas about money that were formed when we were young, as well as ones that we took on as adults in different situations. Our beliefs about money, like whether it is good or bad, hard to make, we have to work hard to get it and so on, are the key to creating your own reality in this area. Remember you have the choice of what you think and believe. What you think and believe creates your world, your day to day life.

Look at what you think about money, where you think you go that idea and is it serving you? Write this down and then ponder it, meditate on it, and then decide what you want to believe now. Write down the beliefs you want now about money, the ones that will make it fun and easy to have and get and appreciate.

Tomorrw i will give you some powerful money beliefs and reasons to change your current ones.

Have a prosperous day!  Nan

“…The power is in your own mind, your own heart. The beginning is belief. If you quote things that others told you to believe, then you may want to see why you feel they are true for you. Do they serve you? Do they create o joyful, abundant, wealthy, healthy, love filled life for you? If not, it is time to see why you believe them and decide to find your own beliefs and install those.

…I also believe wealth, riches, money, cash and any other name for it is energy. It is made from the exact same substance everything else, even our bodies, is made of. The MEANING we give it, the good or bad attitudes we put on it is completely our choice, in our own minds. MONEY IS NOT BAD. The belief money is bad/evil/not necessary and so on, makes so many people miserable. If you think having, wanting, enjoying, appreciating, making money is wrong or bad in any way, it will cause much emotional upset and conflict. Conflict within you as well as with those around you…
Money itself is neutral, it is here for our use, our joy, our pleasure, But because we are taught so many confusing, incorrect, emotionally charged attitudes about money, we judge ourselves and others over it. For not having enough, having too much, making it in the ‘wrong’ way, hoarding it, not saving it, giving it, not sharing it, what you do with it and on and on. If you look honestly within and around you, you will see that unless you have already addressed this in your life, you have emotional reactions, beliefs and judgments about money and yourself and others…”

work hard vs work smart; act from inspiration, get help

Lots of great comments and conversation going on the blog “Can you achieve your goals without being a workaholic?” Check them out and add yours!

Rhonda shared that she gets caught up in working a lot to get her own business going and get to a point where her husband can quit his job. Many of us do this, We want to achieve something and so we are willing to sacrifice for awhile to get it. Is this bad? Well, everyone has their own path, creates their own reality and I have done this many times. There is no wrong or right, only what feels right for you. However, keep an eye on the harmony ( I prefer this to ‘balance’ , as I agree with james Ray, we are never in balance, there is always something we want to focus on more than others at different moments in time, and that is natural) and joy in your life. If you are able to do this for awhile and still be inspired, joyful and happy, go for it. The point is not to not do anything, it is to do what inspires you. Lining up with who you are, what you truly desire and then acting from that place of inspiration, passion and excitement is a whole different way to live than what most people do.

John suggests EFT: emotional freedom technique, which I agree is very powerful. The key is use your tools, if you don’t feel you have any, learn some, ask someone who looks like their life is working, they are happy, love what they do, stay energized and present in life. Meditation is the most powerful tool I know. I know some believe it seems passive, but like lining up with your energy and your passion gives you more results in less action, mediation is your rocket fuel. Just a few minutes a day beings inner peace, clarity, energy, inspired ideas and so much more. You can also “program” your mind with positive, empowering thoughts that help you naturally believe and achieve your goals in meditation. Try “Relax n Achieve Prosperity”. Visualizing and creating the feeling of what you want to create is the way to manifest what you want in your life. I suggest “Joyful Creating”…being in a state of happiness while seeing and feeling what it will be like when you have what you want is a recipe for success. Next week I will finally release the :“Heart Breath Manifestation” technique. This is the most powerful meditation I have experienced yet. Using your heart as it was intended, as a generator to bring your visions into your 3-D reality is energizing and powerful!

Here is my response to Rhonda and Johns comments. Enjoy your day. Feel how much more flavor life has when your are ‘being’ in each moment . Savor it, and do what YOU want this weekend! To your joy, Nan

Rhonda and John,
Thanks for being a part of this conversation. I appreciate both of you sharing. One thing I do beleive, and have not mentioned yet, is that I am talking about the feeling that many people have that thye have to work “hard”. I am not at all against getting inspired, being passionate about what you do and following that passion through. I find there are times when I “work” many hours on a project that I am inspired by. When I am tuned in and on fire, it does not feel lke work, it is not hard. It flows and it is fun. So the point may not only be the amount of hours, but whether we are lined up with what we are doing, and enjoying it. It is much easier, and more fun, when we do it from a place where we want to do it, almost, ‘have’ to do it, it is such a strong and exciting impulse inside of us. I love those moments, those times. They can last awhile too.
Doing what we are passionate about and what expands and inspires us is a big key in the equation.
I also love EFT and use it and teach it, and find it very helpful to release emotional attachments to what i am doing or outcomes, or others attitudes and actions.
Lastly I am a huge proponent of getting help, outsourcing, finding others who are excellent at something that I am not and doing only what i am good at and passionate about. Many people think they can’t afford’ help, however, I encourage everyone to re-examine that and be creative. Pay on commission, trade, pay a % of the profits and other ways to get help and keep costs down.
Great conversation, thanks
Enjoy the moment!

work, health, happiness…what is your “why”?

May 1, 2008 by Nan Akasha

I have been discussing stress, work, health, relaxation, doing less, being more, finding happiness.

What is your “why?” Have you ever considered why you do what you do?

Is it just habit, or because everyone else does it? Is it because you beleive you have no choices? Unfortunately most of us we are not taught to follow our inner guidance, seek being happy, do what we love. What happens as we grow up? We begin to feel responsible to do what others think we should do. We want other to approve, be proud, and so we begin to follow other people’s paths, not our own. The longer we focus and live like this , the more out of touch with who we really are we get. In this way, we can’t ever find true satisfaction, so we keep going, looking for fulfillment outside of ourselves.

So many people today feel like they are on a treadmill. Doing, doing, doing, and feeling like it is never enough. WHY? Not many people I meet have ever stopped to think Why they do what they do. Stop right now and think about it for only one minute. Do it….do you know why, really, down deep why you are doing the things in your life?

What I learned years ago was that we do things for reasons we are not even aware of. When we stop to really look at why, it usually starts with superficial answers like: ‘I have to pay the bills’, or ‘that’s what you are supposed to do’, or ‘I have to have a job to support my family’. You actually have to uncover layers of these kind of ‘reasons’, to get to the real one. I am talking about the reason you are here, why you want to live her, now, and what, in the end, will make you truly satisfied.

INSPIRED ACTION:

Find your ‘Why?. Write down what you think your why is; the reason you go to work, want to write that book, want to make money, are going to school. The reason why you do anything and everything.

What is the reason to do this? It will give you untold clarity! You will not only begin to connect more authentically with your true self, and your real desires, but you will begin to easily sort and sift through your life and see what is truly important to you. What has meaning, what ignites your passion, what turns you on. Then you will find it easier to begin to ‘do less and achieve more’, like we have been talking about all week.

When you line up with your true self, you allow the energy of the universe to easily flow through you. Then you are truly the creator of your own world. You can choose your possibility from the sea of all possibilities all around you.

Keep doing this, till you uncover a real reason, one that resonates so deeply within you, that you know you would do it under any circumstances. Want a real good question to ask yourself to test your “why”? Try this: “Would I still believe this reason to be the ultimate if you found out you were dying in one month? Would you still do it, believe in it, or would it fall away as unimportant?”

Please leave your ‘why’ here in the comments, and anything else you want to share. Would you be interested in more guidance on how to find your ‘why’?
